Kaiju No. 8

Over decades, Japan has been attacked by giant monsters called Kaijuu. Kaijuu 8 is about the life story of a young man Kafka Hibino. To fight and kill Kaiju, the government has established a Defense Force. These forces fight with Kaijuu and protect the lives of people in the town. After this, a professional cleaning corporation sends sweepers to clear the remains of dead Kaijuu. Kafka had a dream to join the Defense Force, as he wanted to fight against Kaijuu. But after a series of efforts, he gave up on his dream and joined a cleaner corporation for a living. One day, Kafka encounters a parasite Kaijuu in his mouth. This incident transformed him into a Kaijuu with superpowers. He has the power to be a Kaijuu No. 8 and gets enough strength. He uses this power to kill other kaijuu and protect his people. This helps him to fulfill his dream. However, he has to hide his identity from the Defense Forces and even from his childhood friend Mina. Kafka faces several challenges after this superpower. He now became a superhero but unofficially. This is a story of action, struggle, and friendship.
