In London during the early 1900s, Japanese exchange student Lili Ichijouin enrolls at the Saint Thomas Art Academy. With a dream of becoming a painter, she must prove herself at the top of her class within six months or have to return home. Her path crossed with Kit Church, a talented nobleman who was cut off from everything except art.
