Ikoku Nikki

Makio Koudai is a 35-year-old novelist who never goes along with her older sister, Minori. She always tries to talk to her and criticize her. When Minori and her husband died in a car accident, she felt little sadness. During the identification of their bodies, she meets her niece, Asa. She is 15 years old now, and she hasn’t seen her in years. Asa was struggling with her loss, and Makio supported her, and then she decided to become her guardian. Together, both of them are learning how to live as a family.
